Super Cast SVB Extreme Super Fine Feed (Mielie Bom) is a specialised, high-performance ground feed developed for South African bank angling carp fishing. This “Extreme Super Fine” version features a much finer grind than standard mielie bom feeds, creating a smoother, more compact feed ball that binds exceptionally well on all papgooi traces. “SVB” stands for Schalk Van Breda, and this mielie bom reflects his preference for a finer-textured feed that performs consistently under competitive conditions.
The ultra-fine maize particles allow this feed to mould tightly onto mielie bom holders, producing a smooth, aerodynamic feed ball that casts cleanly and breaks down evenly on the bottom. Instead of releasing large coarse particles, the feed forms a concentrated carpet of fine food particles that keeps fish feeding confidently in the area without overfeeding them. This makes it ideal for pressured waters, difficult conditions, or days when fish are cautious of heavier feeds.

HOW TO USE
• The Mix: Gradually add water to the dry feed while mixing thoroughly. The fine texture absorbs water efficiently, allowing you to achieve a smooth, firm consistency that holds its shape.
• The Mould: Press the prepared feed firmly onto your mielie bom holder (spring, dart, torpedo or weight). The fine particles create a tighter, smoother finish than coarse feeds, improving casting stability and accuracy.
• The Feed: Once on the bottom, the feed breaks down evenly to form a fine feeding area that keeps carp feeding confidently.
• The Boost: For added attraction, coat the finished mielie bom with Super Cast dips, sprays, or powders before casting.
