Return & Refund Policy 

Returns & Refunds:

We want you to be happy with your purchase. This Policy explains when and how returns and refunds are accepted, in line with the South African Consumer Protection Act (CPA) AND google Merchant Centre requirements.

1. Change-of-Mind Returns:

  • You may return unused products in its original packaging within 14 calendar days of delivery.
  • Returns requested within the first 7 days will be refunded in full (excluding shipping).
  • Returns requested from day 8–14 will be subject to a 12% handling/restocking fee.
  • The customer is responsible for return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.
  • Items returned must be unused, in original packaging, and in re-sellable condition.

 

2. Non-Returnable Items:

For health, safety and or practical reasons, the following items cannot be returned (unless faulty or damaged on arrival)

  • Products that have been opened, used, or exposed to water cannot be returned (unless faulty or damaged on arrival)
  • Opened consumables such as fishing baits (bait attractants, feed mixes, dips, liquid baits, powders, boilies, pellets, floats, pop-ups, pellets, ground feed, mielie bom, dough (deegie), bait backing, bol dips, sprays and similar products).
  • Clearance/Final Sale items, which will be clearly marked on your product pages.
  • Custom or personalised products made specifically for you.

 

3. Defective or Damaged Goods Returns:

  • If a product is defective, faulty or damaged in transit, you have up to 6 months to request a repair, replacement, or full refund at no cost to you.
  • In these cases, we cover all return shipping costs.
  • Please contact us within 5 days of delivery if your order arrives damaged or incorrect, with photos of the item and packaging to help us resolve the issue quickly. This will enable us to take issue with the courier company.

4. How to Start a Return

Please include your order number, reason for return, and photos if applicable. We’ll provide return instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return label.

5. Refunds:

  • Refunds are issued by EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) once the item is received and inspected
  • Refunds are typically processed within 5-7 business days after we receive the item.
  • Original Shipping charges are non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.
  • Restocking fees (if applicable) are deducted from the refund amount.
  • No restocking or admin fees apply if the return is due to our error or a defective product.


6. Additional Information:

This policy applies only to purchases made through our official online store (eoutdoors.co.za) It does not limit your rights under the South African CPA or other consumer laws.
