Super Cast Super Feed (Mielie Bom) is the foundational ground feed for South African bank angling and papgooi fishing. Developed by Protea angler Schalk Van Breda, this premium mielie bom mix is formulated to create a strong, well-bound feeding ball that holds together during the cast and breaks down correctly on the bottom to release attraction where fish are feeding.
Designed specifically for papgooi-style carp angling, Super Feed moulds easily onto all common mielie bom holders and carp trace setups. Whether you are fishing springs, mushrooms, darts, torpedoes, or weighted papgooi traces, the mix grips securely for long-distance casting while forming a concentrated voerplek (feeding spot) that keeps fish feeding confidently.
The texture strikes the ideal balance between firmness and breakdown, allowing the mielie bom to stay intact during the cast but release food signals steadily once it reaches the dam or river bed. This makes it an excellent base mix for both short-session fishing and longer specimen-style campaigns.

HOW TO USE
• Mixing: Add water gradually to the dry mix while stirring until a firm, mouldable consistency is achieved.
• Moulding: Press the prepared mielie bom firmly around your mielie bom holder on a papgooi trace to ensure it withstands casting.
• Boosting: For added attraction, coat the finished mielie bom with Super Cast dips, sprays, or powders before casting.
